I popped into Lidl to check out if they had anything resembling a Lidl gluten free Christmas range… and guess what? They did! There was party food, roast dinner trimmings and desserts too!
Of course, the Lidl gluten free Christmas range 2020 is nowhere near as huge as some of the bigger supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. But it definitely serves a purpose for Christmas Day at a really affordable price.
Oh and also make sure you’re following me on Instagram where I post all my latest gf finds first – that way, you’ll always know all the most recent finds and never miss any!
(I’ll be keeping this post updated with prices and new products as Christmas approaches, so keep checking back!)
Here’s 30 NEW products in the Lidl Gluten Free Christmas Range 2020 ??
We didn’t have a Lidl where I live at all until more recently. Now we have a couple in my town and whenever I go, I always manage to find a few gluten free products.
Lidl at present beats Aldi in my opinion. What do you think? Lidl have a proper, all-year-round, own-label gluten free range featuring gluten free pasta, cookies, mixes, snacks as well as gluten free bread from Warburtons Gluten Free.
But what about the Lidl Gluten Free Christmas Range 2020? Keep reading to find out, then you can be the judge! Do you shop in Lidl regularly? Do you prefer Aldi? Or do you shop mainly in the larger supermarkets because they have a better selection?
This post is constantly updated! Keep scrolling to the bottom for the NEWEST products ??
1. Mini Cheddar Cheese Stars (£1.99)
Let’s kick off the Lidl gluten free Christmas range with a couple of awesome party food options!
First up are these mini cheddar cheese stars which just so happen to be in a gluten free crumb.
They’re blended mature cheddar cheese, soft cheese and mozzarella, coated in gluten free breadcrumbs and fried.
So if you haven’t got your party food spread sorted yet, then these are a great option.
2. Mini Jalapeno Cheese Sticks (£1.99)
Yesss, more Jalapeno cheese sticks and believe it or not… these have no onion or garlic in them.
(I’m intolerant to onion and garlic FYI and so are a lot of people with IBS strangely)
Sorry, I know it’s a little late to be sharing this info, but better late than never I guess?!
And of course, they’re gluten free too.
3. 6 Outdoor Bred Pork Chipolata Pigs in Blankets (£2.59)
More gluten free pigs in blankets!
Yep, we’re definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to pigs in blankets this year. But bear in mind that not ALL pigs in blankets are gluten free.
The ‘finest’ range in every supermarket seems to be safe, but the cheaper options aren’t.
So definitely make sure you read the labels of everything (as usual!)
4. 6 Outdoor Bred British Pork Apricot & Blue Stilton Stuffing Parcels (£2.79)
What I really love the most in Lidl’s gluten free Christmas range is their stuffing parcels.
They’re a little like stuffing balls, but they’re wrapped in bacon and they have some amazing flavours. These are apricot and blue stilton flavour.
And guess what? No onion or garlic either!
I know, I couldn’t believe it either!
5. 6 Outdoor Bred British Pork Apple & Honey Stuffing Parcels (£2.79)
And the same goes for these – no onion or garlic in sight. Sorry I’m mentioning it so much, it’s just that finding products without both of those ingredients in it is a bit like spotting a unicorn ?
These are apple and honey flavour. They’re made using outdoor bred British pork, blended with apple and honey and hand wrapped in oak smoked streaky bacon.
Well, that’s what it says on the packet anyway!
6. 10 Outdoor Bred Pork Pigs in Blankets (£1.99)
Oh and I’ve just realised that the pigs in blankets I posted before these are actually more like long chipolatas in blankets. This are proper little pigs in blankets!
But whatever you prefer, Lidl have got you covered this Christmas. It’s good to see the RSPCA Assured logo AND the Red Tractor logo on tons of these products too.
7. 12 Pigs in Blankets (£2.49)
Did someone say even more pigs in blankets?!
See what I meant when I said we were spoilt for choice this year? And this is just what’s in Lidl!
Not sure if it’s worth paying 49p extra for just 2 more pigs in blankets than the previous product, but hey-ho!
8. Yard Long Pig in Blanket (£4.49)
Ok, this is getting silly now! First the pigs in blankets were long, then smaller, now they’re a yard long ?
I couldn’t find this in my Lidl as they sold out as soon as they came in store. But if you find them, let me know! Here’s a photo so you know what to hunt for…
9. 10 Chickens in Blankets (£2.79)
And if you weren’t even satisfied with ALL those pigs in blankets so far, how about some chicken in blankets?!
Yep, they’re even wrapped in turkey bacon! (I’ve tried it before, it’s nice!)
I guess this is a great option for people who don’t eat pork. I’m sure it’ll put a smile on anyone’s face though!
10. Outdoor Bred Pork Cranberry & Apple Stuffing Log (£3.49)
And if stuffing parcels aren’t enough for you, how about an entire cranberry and apple stuffing LOG?
Lidl really have all the trimmings sorted this Christmas and so much of them are gluten free.
And they clearly state it on the front of the packaging which is nice for once!
This is a stuffing log made using outdoor bred British pork blended with cranberry and apple wrapped in smoked dry cured streaky bacon. Yum!

11. Outdoor Bred British Pork Stuffing (£2.49)
And if you just want stuffing with a little more of a modest flavour, then this is probably the product for you.
It’s simply sausage meat with a subtle herb and spice seasoning. Who’s impressed with the Lidl gluten free Christmas range so far?
The prices are certainly a lot less than at other supermarkets this Christmas.
12. Outdoor Bred British Pork Garnish Pack (£3.99)
And if you just want a combo of stuffing balls AND pigs in blankets in one product, then here you go!
In this pack is 8 sage and onion stuffing balls and 8 pigs in blankets. It does generally work out cheaper to buy this instead of buying them both separately.

Looks like we’re gonna be stuffed with stuffing ourselves this Christmas!

14. 12 Outdoor Bred British Pork Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls (£2.29)

15. 12 Outdoor Bred British Pork Chestnut, Bacon & Thyme Stuffing Balls (£2.29)
More stuffing balls!!
This time (or should I say ‘this thyme’ ?) they’re 12 chestnut, bacon and thyme stuffing balls for £2.29.
I’d definitely consider stocking up on these and freezing them as they’ll all disappear after Christmas!
16. 18 Outdoor Bred Pork Cocktail Sausages (£2.79)
And if you just want a good ol’ cocktail sausage on a stick – no bacon involved, then these would be perfect.
(sticks sold separately! ?)

17. Gosh Veggie Cocktail sausages (£1.99)
And here’s our first veggie/vegan option.
There aren’t many in the Lidl gluten free Christmas range so make the most of it!
These are Gosh veggie cocktail sausages with sage and black pepper. Mark’s Mum and Dad tried these recently and really liked them!
18. 12 Satay Chicken Skewers (£1.99) (Frozen)
Phew, that’s all the trimmings done for now I think!
Here’s a little more gluten free Christmas party food – 12 satay chicken skewers. There isn’t absolutely TONS of gf party food like there is in the Co-op this year, but it’s nice you can get a few options at Lidl.
These are only £1.99 too!
19. 6 Cheese & Onion Potato Skins (£1.99) (Frozen)
And these cheese and onion potato skins are yet another gluten free option that you might miss.
Best of all, because these aren’t special ‘gluten free products’, we pay the same price as everyone else for these. I’m definitely gonna be making the most of that in Lidl!
20. British Turkey Gravy (£1.69)
Bring on the gravy! Here’s some fresh gravy that just needs reheating in the microwave – nice and easy on Christmas day.
Of course, it’s gluten free too!
21. Beef Gravy (£1.69)
And if you didn’t fancy turkey gravy, here’s some gluten free beef gravy too. Sadly none of the gravy in Lidl is onion/garlic free, but the turkey gravy in Morrisons is FYI.
You can thank me for that one later!
22. Hand Finished Chocolate Ganache Mini Desserts (£2.99)
Ok, I’m gonna love you and leave you with a few gluten free dessert options I found in the Lidl gluten free Christmas range now!
These chocolate ganache mini desserts are with all the yoghurts in the chillers, but the roulades coming up are all in the freezers.
So get out and get hunting!
