Gluten free Christmas party food is here! Wow… I never thought I’d live to see the day that there would be so many gluten free party food options in supermarkets! Here’s 55 gluten free Christmas party food products you NEED at any festive buffet in 2019…
Gluten free party food, anyone? There’s actually soooo many gluten free Christmas party food products out in 2019 that I couldn’t even fit them all in this post! But here’s the gluten free Christmas party food products you NEED to try ASAP… buffets will never be the same again!
Oh and also make sure you’re following me on Instagram where I post all my latest gf finds first – that way, you’ll always know all the most recent finds and never miss any!
Here’s 59 gluten free Christmas party food products you NEED to try in 2019
I’ve tried to track down the BEST products from a variety of supermarkets including, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-Op!
Also I’m gonna be pointing out all the prices where I can AND letting your know about any 3 for 2 offers or 4 for 3 offers on these products. They’re usually in a deal like that!
As it gets closer and closer to Christmas, keep checking back as I’m hoping to add more and more products from Aldi, Lidl etc. as they appear on shelves.
There’s everything from spring rolls, to onion bhajis, mozzarella sticks and more in this post, but let me know if there’s any other products you miss and I’ll track them down for you. Let’s make our Christmas buffets awesome this year!
This post is constantly updated! Make sure you scroll to the bottom of this post for the NEWEST Christmas party food products ??
1. Waitrose and Partners Christmas 20 Southern Fried Chicken Chunks – Gluten free
When it comes to gluten free Christmas party food, these were a massive hit last year and they’re back again!
They’re chunks of tender British chicken breast in crispy southern fried breadcrumbs with a tango tomato ketchup dip. How good does that sound?!
You might be surprised to hear that Waitrose is actually really good for gluten free party food this year – keep scrolling to see all the amazing products!
These are pretty dear though at £6 each, so if that’s a little too much, check out some of the other options in this post. They are on a 3 for 2 offer though if that helps!
2. Co-op 12 Vegetable Spring Rolls – Gluten free and vegan
Recognise these?!
If you do, that’s because these were a MASSIVE hit from last Christmas. As were most of Co-Op’s gluten free Christmas party food products.
These are in the freezer aisle of Co-Op and they’re back in store now!
I’ve only just noticed that they’re totally vegan too. Woop! These are £2.25 or 2 for £4.
3. Tesco 12 Chicken Tikka Masala Bites – Gluten free
Let’s head over to Tesco to check out some of their awesome gluten free Christmas party food products for the next few!
First up are these chicken tikka masala bites which are spiced chicken and rice in a crisp crumb.
And yep, the crumb is gluten free! These are £3 but currently on a 3 for 2 offer which is awesome.
(slightly cheaper than Waitrose by a bit ?)
They’ve even started putting ‘Gluten free’ clearly at the bottom of these products which is amazing to see.
4. Tesco BBQ Chicken Wings – Gluten free
Whaaaat? Here’s another product that I probably wouldn’t know was gluten free…
I mean, I was just praising how the last product said gluten free on the front, but suddenly, these don’t!
These are also £3 but currently the 3 for 2 deal as well.
And here’s some more that are in that same deal in Tesco!
5. Tesco Mini BBQ Ribs – Gluten free
Yep, mini BBQ ribs! And again, we’ve lost the ‘Gluten free’ label on the front, but you’ll be pleased to hear that these are still gluten free.
And once again, these are £3 and in the 3 for 2 offer. Result!
It’s great that all of this party food cooks at the same temperature too so you can just bung it all in the oven at once – just keep everything away from gluten-containing food in the oven of course!
But now you’ve got 3 gluten free products for your 3 for 2 deal… these next few products coming up may complicate things a little…
6. Tesco 12 Ham and Cheese Croquettes – Gluten free
Yes, these are also in the 3 for 2 deal, or £3 separately.
(all these products are in the chillers near the gluten-filled pork pies btw – NOT frozen)
Also, hooray, the ‘Gluten free’ label on the front of the packaging came back from wherever it’s been on holiday ?
These are basically smoked ham, mozzarella and cheddar coated in a parsley breadcrumb.
And considering there’s loads and loads of gluten free mozzarella sticks this year (as you’ll see later in this post) it’s great to see something a little more adventurous!
7. Tesco 10 Green Jalapeno Peppers with Soft Cheese – Gluten free
Yep, that’s 5 gluten free Christmas party food products that are all gf, all £3 and ALL in the 3 for 2 deal.
Who’d have thought that we actually have choice for once?!
Tesco has really nailed it this year and whilst we’re still lacking some faves like veggie spring rolls, prawn toast etc., there’s some great options here.
Watch the sell-by dates on these though – they’re well before Christmas at the mo! Let’s take a walk over to Asda and see what’s what for Christmas this year…
8. Asda Party 12 Chicken Satay Skewers with Peanut Dip – Gluten free
Sadly, this is one of the only frozen party food options in Asda so far this year.
(but obviously keep checking back on this post as it will be constantly updated throughout the festive season with new products right down the bottom ??)
But it’s a decent start at least and they’re only £2.
In my Asda, there were 12 in the box (stated on the front of the packaging) but in the product listing online, it shows only 10! So bear that in mind.
9. Asda 12 Mozzarella Sticks – Gluten free and veggie
But of course, if you’re in a pinch, these would make a great gluten free party food option!
These are in Asda all-year-round I’m pretty sure and for £2, you can’t really go wrong, can you?
You can find these in the chiller with all the other party food we can’t eat!
You can always freeze these until Christmas day if you’re buying in advance too ??
10. Asda Hash Brown Bites – Gluten free and veggie
These are another fresh product that’s just purely awesome and gluten free all-year-round too.
But I certainly wouldn’t mind a plate of these and a lovely dip during the festive season!
They’re only £2 as well, so this is another product that would be great in your freezer, ready for the big day.
If you don’t happen to eat them well before that!!
11. Asda Extra Special 12 British Pigs in Blankets – Gluten free
Ok, back to gluten free Christmas party food products, but still in Asda!
In the freezer section, you’ll find their 12 British Pigs in Blankets which, are totally gluten free and clearly labelled.
Just stick cocktail sticks in these and you’re good to go!
Not all pigs in blankets are gluten free (especially cheaper ones) so keep these in mind.
12. Co-op Indian Selection – Gluten free and vegan
Bring on more gluten free Christmas party food products from the Co-op!
This might just be the best product in this entire post. But I’ll let you decide that one! It’s also vegan too.
It’s an Indian selection with 5 onion bhajis and 5 vegetable pakoras. I mean, that’s something you don’t see every day!
I haven’t seen this in the Co-op this year, but scroll to the bottom of this post for a NEW Indian selection which may/may not have replaced this one…
13. Co-op 10 Tempura Prawn Lollipops – Gluten free
Mmm – tempura prawn lollipops!
Yep, these were a massive hit last year and I’ve got my fingers crossed that they’ll be back again this year.
Again, these were in the freezers in Co-op, NOT the chillers.
Co-op really nailed party food last year, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can do it two years in a row for 2019!
14. Co-Op 10 Tempura Prawns – Gluten free
Since when can we eat anything in tempura batter?!!
(it’s a really, nice, light and airy, crispy batter that’s never gf if you didn’t know)
Although Tesco really nailed it with tons of breadcrumbed products this year, Co-op are definitely bringing a little bit of magic to our Christmas buffet in 2019!
There’s still a few more mind-blowing Co-op products to come, but I might just save those until later on in the post… so keep scrolling down ??
15. Morrisons’ 12 Mozzarella Sticks – Gluten free and veggie
I told you there would be more mozzarella sticks!
This time, they’re from Morrisons, not Asda – though they basically are exactly the same thing. They’re £2.50 if you’re asking, a little dearer than in Asda.
But add a dip to these and I certainly wouldn’t turn them down!
Also, whilst we’re checking out the gluten free Christmas party food products in Morrisons…
16. Morrisons’ Breaded Garlic Mushrooms – Gluten free and veggie
Last year, they had some really awesome products that are gluten free, like their breaded garlic mushrooms.
And yep, the breadcrumbs are gf!
I haven’t spotted these in stores yet this year, but expect all supermarkets to start rolling out Christmas party food during the end of November/start of December.
And like in Tesco, they all cook at the same oven temperature (200c) which is very handy.
17. Morrisons’ 10 Breaded Camemberts AND 12 Gouda Cheese Churros and Red Pepper Dip – Gluten free and veggie
And here’s two more! I only had a photo of the both together, so forgive me if I scared you by shoving two products in one photo ?
So what have we got?! First of all, there’s 10 breaded camemberts, with raspberry and Mac de Champagne sauce – wow that sounds like a weird, but tasty combo!
Then, there’s 12 gouda cheese churros and a red pepper dip with grated regato cheese to sprinkle on top.
Probably two of the best products in this list again!
17. Morrisons’ 12 Cheese Stars – Gluten free and veggie
And right with all of Morrisons party food are 12 cheese stars which are clearly labelled to be gluten free.
(Morrisons is actually pretty good with their gluten free labelling being pretty clear and consistent)
There’s 6 cream cheese and garlic stars and 6 chipotle chilli and cheese stars.
Sorry I don’t have the price for these last few products. Last year, they were in a 3 for £6 deal and between £2.50 to £3 each ??
18. Marks and Spencer 12 Mini Toad in the Hole – Gluten free
How many times am I allowed to say that this is one of the best products in this post?!
(I’m giving myself a 5 time limit ? – 2 more to go!)
These are mini sausages in a crisp batter Yorkshire pudding batter served with red wine gravy.
I’d never believe this was gluten free but erm… it is!
19. Marks and Spencer 12 Sticky Asian Style Chicken Lollipops – Gluten free
Bring on more gluten free Christmas party food products!
These have been a staple gf option in M&S’ party food range for the last few years now.
But what are they?! They’re chicken blended with red pepper and spring onion with a sweet sticky soy and plum glaze, with a crunchy topping.
M&S are always good at labelling their food as gluten free, just look for that orange logo in the bottom right-hand corner.
20. Marks and Spencer 12 Mini Chicken and Garlic Kievs – Gluten free
And here’s yet another returning fave!
When it comes to gluten free Christmas party food products, there isn’t a boat-load at M&S, but they do have a fair selection of greatest hits.
These were in the freezer, but I’m pretty sure they have the exact same product out in the chillers too.
It looks a bit like… not this photo, but the one below it…
Like this!
So this one isn’t frozen ?? It’s also in the 3 for 2 deal with their party food, so it might be worth getting instead of the frozen one.
21. M&S Food 9 Mini Salted Caramel Cupcakes – Gluten free
Now, I wouldn’t ordinarily class this as gluten free Christmas party food… but M&S certainly do, so I thought, why not?!
Basically, it’s in their party food deal which is a 4 for 3 offer. And thought they’re not savoury products, or chilled or frozen or anything – I’d be pretty pleased if this was all I could eat!
So these products are just out on the shelves in bright red packaging with tons of other, more cake-based products.
And this isn’t the only product we have to choose from in this deal!
22. M&S Food 12 Iced Christmas Bites – Gluten free
Yep, there’s even mini Christmas iced cake bites in this deal too!
Wait, I’m pretty sure that I have the price for these somewhere too *goes off to check phone* they’re £3.50 each!
(some people’s phones are full of photos of their loved ones, mine are full of photos of products – true story ?)
There’s also another product I haven’t got my hands on in this deal too (they’re in the same kinda packaging) and they’re gluten free brownie bites.
So it’s 4 for 3, but only 3 products are gluten free… so if you are getting this deal, maybe buy two of one product just so you can get the offer!
23. Waitrose and Partners Christmas 16 Pigs in Blankets – Gluten free
Ok, we’re back in Waitrose now and braving the slightly dearer gluten free Christmas party food products!
(but I dunno, maybe they’re a bit nicer than other, cheaper options out there… but I’ll let you guys be the judge of that. I can’t eat everything!!)
These are £5 each but of course, if that’s too much, just scroll up or down for cheaper alternatives.
Don’t forget that these are actually in a 3 for 2 offer as well.
24. Waitrose and Partners Christmas 12 Ham and Cheese Croquettes – Gluten free
These are also £5 and if that offends you, just scroll back to product number 6!
It’s essentially the same (or similar) product for £3 and also, still in a 3 for 2 deal.
I know how expensive being gluten free can be, so if I can save a few people a few quid here and there, I’ll be very happy this Christmas!
But I have to say, Waitrose is definitely up there with some of the best selection of gf party food this year.
25. Waitrose and Partners Christmas Pork Cracklings Straws – Gluten free
Like these! And unlike the last product, you won’t find these anywhere else this year.
These are pork crackling straws with a tangy apple sauce. That sounds like pure heaven to me!
They’re not quite as much, coming in at £4 and of course, definitely still eligible for the 3 for 2 deal.
And oh no, the Waitrose gluten free Christmas party food products don’t end there!
26. Waitrose and Partners Christmas 12 Breaded Cheese Selection – Gluten free and veggie
Here’s another breaded cheese selection for £5 and unlike the Morrisons one I posted earlier, this has a little more variety.
There’s 4 Cornish camembert bites in a seed crumb, 4 soft cheese and feta bites in a lemon and thyme crumb and finally…
4 cream cheese bites with garlic in a herb crumb.
So many supermarkets are killing it once again with all the gluten free breadcrumb options. Keep doing it – we appreciated it!!
27. Waitrose and Partners Christmas 12 Tomato Mozzarella Arancini Bites – Gluten free and veggie
And lastly in the 3 for 2 deal are these 12 Tomato and Mozzarella Arancini bites.
They’re also a fiver to buy on their own if you’re asking.
These look absolutely amazing AND they’ve got a creamy, cheesy centre.
I feel that this post hasn’t been too bad for veggie options this year! But here’s a few more…
28. Waitrose Vegetarian Mushroom Arancini – Gluten free and veggie
And if you were hoping for more gluten free AND veggie options, then here’s a couple more!
Sadly as they’re not ‘party food’, they’re not in the 3 for 2 deal – they’re simply £4 each.
But if you are throwing an entirely veggie Christmas buffet this year, these extra products might help you make it possible.
If you liked this, you might also like…

29. Waitrose Vegetarian 6 Tomato and Mozzarella Arancini – Gluten free
More veggie and gluten free arancini!
This time, there’s 6 tomato and mozzarella arancini with cheesy middles ?
Again, these are £4 too. They’re available all year round too if you really like them!
Oh and here’s a cool little vegan option too…
30. Waitrose and Partners Vegan Cocktails – Gluten free and vegan
That’s right, gluten free and VEGAN cocktail sausages! They’re £2.99.
Let’s just ignore the fact that they say ‘scrumptious summer’ on them, shall we? ?
But if you are gf and vegan, stick a cocktail stick into these and you’ve got probably the best cocktail sausages option ever!
Sorry there’s not tons more vegan options in this post, but if I find any I’ll be sure to included them as I update it.
31. Waitrose Vegeterian Marinated Vegetable and Goat’s Cheese Pie – Gluten free
And here’s one veggie option! It’s £2.99.
Ok, this isn’t exactly the king of gluten free Christmas party food products, but again, if you want more veggie options then this is perfect.
It’s very random that this is gluten free because yes, it’s a pie and it’s made of pastry! And the pastry if of course gluten free – this doesn’t happen often enough!
So I thought you could at least buy one of these, cut them up and have a few little slices at your Christmas buffet. Sound good?!
32. Tesco Finest 10 British Pork Cocktail Sausages in Streaky Bacon – Gluten free
Ok, you might be sick of seeing pigs in blankets (maybe not, I dunno!) but I do have a few exciting products coming up after these too, so stay tuned!
But let’s be honest – pigs in blankets are amazing!! I always use them like cocktail sausages… because they’re basically cocktails sausages but a million times better.
So once again, grab your cocktail sticks and get stabbing!
These are £2.50 and with all the other Finest sausages in Tesco.

33. Tesco 14 Onion Bhajis – Gluten free and vegan
I told you I had something exciting! This is probably the BEST value product in this entire post and out of all the gluten free Christmas party food products, so be prepared to stock up.
These are in the freezer aisle at Tesco with all the gluten-containing party food.
But these are not just gluten free, they’re vegan AND… they only cost £1!!!
£1! Corr blimey. The best value product in this post by a mile. Who’s rushing out to stock up? There’s 14 of them in there too!
I don’t want to alarm you but including this product, there’s 5 gluten free party food options coming up that are all just £1 each. So keep scrolling!

34. Tesco 12 Bubble and Squeak Bites – Gluten free and vegan
And the bargains don’t stop there either!
Yep, these bubble and squeak bites (a mix of lightly seasoned potato, carrot, cabbage and onion) are also gluten free and vegan.
And hooray – they’re only £1 too!
So if you come over to my house for a Christmas buffet, don’t be surprised if I have 10 plates all full of onion bhajis and bubble and squeak bites for you to eat ? #bargain
35. Tesco Free From Onion Rings – Gluten free, wheat free, milk free
And guess what? Tesco probably has the BEST selection of festive gluten free crisps out of any supermarket.
First up are gluten free, wheat free, milk free AND vegan onion rings. How amazing is that?!
I don’t know about you, but my house is always littered with bowls of crisps on Christmas day.
And for £1, I think these deserve their own bowl too, don’t you think?!
36. Tesco Free From Turkey and Stuffing Tortilla Chips – Gluten free, wheat free
And omg… these are only £1 too. Not bad for an *actual* free from product, eh?!
Oh and these are vegan too. Yes, turkey and stuffing flavour that’s also suitable for vegans – amazing, though I’m not sure how they do it!
So now you can see why Tesco are so amazing for gluten free crisps this year.
But if you can’t eat onion or garlic like me, I’ve got a little surprise for you coming next…
37. Tesco Free From Maple Bacon Tortilla Curls – Gluten free, wheat free
Ta-da! Yep, these maple bacon tortilla curls are gluten free, wheat free, vegan AND they don’t contain onion/garlic.
(I’m intolerant to both in case you were wondering)
And no way… these are just £1 too!
The last few products could basically be an amazing gluten free Christmas buffet for £5 in total as far as I’m concerned ?

38. Co-op 12 Chilli Cheese Bites – Gluten free
Ok, well we had a pretty good run of £1 gluten free Christmas party food products, didn’t we?!
Meanwhile back at Co-op, here’s the final few products in their party food range.
I absolutely loved these last year and fun fact: they also don’t have onion or garlic in them either!
I can’t remember how much these cost last year, but I’ll keep you posted when they make it back into stores later in November.
39. Co-op Salted Caramel Profiteroles – Gluten free, milk free
Sorry there hasn’t been a whole lot of dairy free in this post!
If you’ve been scrolling for an absolute age and been disappointed, then this might cheer you up ?
Yep, that’s right, salted caramel profiteroles that are gluten free AND dairy free. How is that even possible?!
Mark loved these last year, so much so that he’d just eat them straight out of the freezer. Still nice apparently!
40. Morrisons Made to Share Loaded Potato Skins – Gluten free
And last but not least are an ‘accidentally’ gluten free party food fave!
These are my FAVE food on Earth – they’re loaded potato skins topped with bacon and mature cheddar cheese with a soured cream and garlic dip.
You can find these with all the gluten-containing party food and along with the mozzarella sticks, these are the only two gf options in that section.
They’re in the chillers btw!

First of all, how awesome is it that these are gluten free?
These look just to be Co-op’s regular party food… at regular prices… and they just so happen to be gf! I might have missed this if Co-op didn’t give me a heads up.
This product and the next four are £3 each and 2 for £5 – a little dearer than the frozen party food in Co-op. But these are chilled fresh products and supposedly a higher quality. But I’ll let you guys be the judge of that!
You can of course freeze these products too after buying them and defrost them in a fridge for 24 hours before cooking.
57. Co-op Coconut and Chilli Prawns – Gluten free and dairy free (gifted)
The Co-op gluten free Christmas range just keeps getting better and better, right?!
Yep, these are coconut and chilli prawns and they happen to be dairy free too. They’re also in the 2 for £5 deal of course.
In case the text is too small for you to read, it says succulent prawns in a coconut and chilli crumb – made with responsibly sourced prawns.
And the best part is that all their party food cooks at 200c, so no madness with baking tray relays this Christmas!
58. Co-op 12 Arancini Bites – Gluten free and veggie (gifted)
And here’s one for the veggies out there – twelve arancini bites!
These are rice bites with red pepper, mozzarella and bechamel sauce in a crisp coating. How good does that sound?!
Don’t forget that you’ll find these products in the chillers, NOT the freezer section.
If you want to freeze them at home though they’ll last for up to a month ??
59. Co-op 12 Ham and Cheese Croquettes – Gluten free (gifted)
Here’s 12 ham and cheese croquettes made with British pork!
Yep, there’s that lovely, golden gluten free crumb again. I’m pretty confident that by the time you’ve scrolled through this entire post, you could have enough for an ENTIRE gluten free party food buffet.
And there’s not many supermarkets you can say that about this Christmas! Who else is planning a 100% gluten free buffet? I honestly don’t think most gluten-eaters would notice or care with all these awesome products.
