So here are my Top 5 Picks for The Allergy and Free From Show North this weekend (25th – 26th October) in Liverpool.
There are of course so many other amazing brands there that I can’t wait to revisit. But also there are a few brands that I haven’t had much, if any, contact with before that I am looking forward to checking out… Click here to check out what I am looking forward to exploring for the first time!
Top 5 Picks for The Allergy and Free From Show in Liverpool 2014.
Amy’s Kitchen
Amy’s Kitchen are definitely on the up, inventing brand new gluten free, dairy free and vegan dishes to satisfy everyone. Their Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan Breakfast Sandwich that is now available in the Frozen Section of many large Tesco stores is delicious. It is a simple, easy and flavoursome alternative to a local café’s breakfast bap and a million dollars greater than a certain Sausage and Egg McMuffin. Check out our review of the Breakfast Bap on the Blog and head down to their stand at The Allergy and Free From Show North this weekend to try it for yourself!
Bfree
I love Bfree. I love Bfree wraps. Monday night was fajita night in our household and thanks to Bfree I always get to indulge with everyone else in tasty BBQ Chicken Fajitas. At The Allergy and Free From Show Bfree always put on a great show, showing off all their products and cooking up some delicious delights. You’ve got to check them out this weekend for some great samples and a brilliant range of products. Check out our past review of the delicious Bfree wraps on the blog now.
Glamour Puds
It would not be an Allergy and Free From Show for me without Glamour Puds. Glamour Puds are still one of my favourite discoveries from a couple of years ago at the London Allergy Show. We’ve already written about Glamour Puds a few times on the blog so check out our past reviews here. But really the main thing I suggest you do is to check out their delicious gluten and dairy free puddings at The Allergy Show this weekend. The Bakewell Tart is beyond delicious and who doesn’t love a Hot Chocolate Fudge Pudding or a Treacle Sponge Pudding?! Yes, we can eat them!!
Kirstys
Kirsty’s Ready Meals are THE ready meals! Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, soya free and no added sugar… these meals are the real deal and as safe as they come for our intolerant stomachs. The range is varied and ever expanding with a brand new Thai Chilli Chicken with Rice Noodles and a Beef Lasagne released in recent months. If you haven’t had the opportunity to try one of Kirsty’s meals yet then the Allergy and Free From Show is the perfect opportunity to try a whole variety of different choices on offer. These ready meals are quick, easy and incredibly flavoursome. Sometimes a ready meal is the best option when time is of the essence, and to be able to safely enjoy such a delicious range is unheard of for the intolerants amongst us. Venice Bakery UK
Mark and myself are huge, huge fans of Venice Bakery. They make amazing pizza bases that are perfect for us as they are gluten and dairy free. Additionally they are egg free, soy free, corn free and nut free. Now, I know many supermarkets have their own pizza bases and additionally you can go to restaurants and have takeaway pizza that is gluten free, but these bases beat them all. They are really thin and crisp up amazingly. We love to make our own pizzas at home because we can choose whatever we like to put on top which is especially important when we need to use dairy free cheese. Venice Bakery always put on a great performance at The Allergy and Free From Show with great hot pizza samples throughout the day, so get on down to their stand and give them a try! Click here for a past review of their bases!
