Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026 – 30+ products found so far at the supermarket that we STILL wish stocked more gluten-free products all year round! I’ve been visiting Lidl stores, checking labels and photographing the finds below, from party food and Christmas lunch options to festive crisps, sweets and roulades.
Always double-check the ingredients and allergen warnings on your own pack before buying, as recipes and labelling can change. I’ll keep adding new finds right up until Christmas, so check back before your next shop!

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Free From Aisle
If you go looking for dedicated gluten-free Christmas products or a free from aisle in Lidl UK, you’ll be sure to find…

If you read my Lidl post last year, you might find it familiarly strange how similar the situation is once again. Lidl used to stock its own-brand Favorina Gluten-free Mince Pies, but I haven’t found them for many years, and they aren’t among this year’s finds either. Here’s an old photo of the ones we used to be able to buy:

That’s the frustrating part when you just want a mince pie with your Christmas cuppa, or some bread to go with the cheese bakes pictured below: there are suitable products around the store, but we’re still missing the dedicated free from essentials that would let us do the whole shop in one place.
Lidl used to have a small free from range here too, but I haven’t seen it for years. In last year’s post, I linked to Lidl Ireland’s November 2025 gluten-free product list, which included Just Free products such as part-baked rolls, ginger cookies, chocolate cookies and loaf cakes. That was an example of the everyday options I’d love to see available here as well, rather than having to rely on what happens to be suitable in the main ranges.
Having been gluten-free for 15+ years, I can safely say that things won’t change for the better unless we constantly remind everyone that we exist. And that we will happily give businesses our money if they provide for us at respectable prices. After all, without letting businesses (like supermarkets, fast food chains, cafes, restaurants or even TV shows) know that we exist, the status quo of having little to no gluten-free options/representation will just continue.
So this empty section of this post is a reminder to you, the reader, to message Lidl politely asking for a dedicated free from section with essential free from products (like bread, cereal, pasta and biscuits!) to be stocked there all year round at reasonable prices at the very least. And whilst you might feel like one message won’t make a difference, if we’re all persistently doing it, we’re much harder to ignore.
Here’s how you can get in touch with them:
If you could get me one Christmas gift this year, it would be letting Lidl know we want those products!! Thank you! 💜
Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Snacks, Party Food & Christmas Lunch
If you compare Lidl with the supermarkets that have dedicated gluten-free party food ranges… there’s still plenty of room for improvement! But one of last year’s most useful finds is back: the Braemoor 3 Bird Roast with Pork, Sage & Roasted Garlic Stuffing. Here’s your early warning: these were a super in-demand product last year and they sold out VERY FAST. So if you want one, best get one ASAP!
But careful: the Pork, Cranberry & Thyme version with the red label is NOT gluten-free.
Its stuffing contains wheat flour. The Pork, Sage & Roasted Garlic version has a green label, and its photographed ingredients list uses rice flour, gram flour and potato starch. I’ve shown both packs with their ingredient lists below. Please check the full product name and your own label rather than relying on the colour alone!
Gluten-free option: Pork, Sage & Roasted Garlic (green packaging) ✅

NOT gluten-free: Pork, Cranberry & Thyme ❌
The next two photos show the version to avoid: its stuffing contains WHEAT flour.

For the rest of Christmas lunch, there are Deluxe Double Wrapped Pigs in Blankets, Cauliflower Cheese and Mini Potato Gratins in Rosemary & Thyme, Emmental Cheese or Broccoli & Cheese. The frozen party-food finds include Cheese & Jalapeno, Cheese & Bacon and Cheese & Onion Potato Skins, plus Satay and Sweet Chilli Chicken Skewers and Reblochon & Bacon Mini Tartiflettes. That gives you a few things to take to a Boxing Day buffet when you’d rather have a proper plateful than just the crisps!
The chilled shelves are worth checking too: I found Gosh! falafel and pakora, Vemondo falafel, three Deluxe Cheese Bakes and Baking Camembert with different toppings. For the snack bowls, there are Pigs in Blankets, Lobster Cocktail and Maple Glazed Smoked Turkey crisps, among the flavours pictured. Check dates and storage instructions before buying ahead, including whether chilled products are suitable for freezing.

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Seasonal Confectionery Aisle
This is a much smaller selection than last year’s confectionery section so far: Favorina Peppermint and Strawberry Candy Canes, plus After Eight Mint Chocolate Thins. If you’re putting together a gluten-free Christmas Eve box, the candy canes give you a little festive treat to include without having to find a specialist free from version. The After Eights are a familiar option for passing around after Christmas dinner too.
Last year I also found fig and almond cakes, date and walnut cakes and several nougat varieties, so I’ll keep looking for those and any other additions. They aren’t confirmed finds for this year yet. As always, check the ingredients and allergen warnings on the specific pack you’re buying, rather than assuming every product or flavour from the same brand is suitable.

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Desserts
Once again, meringue-based desserts are doing the heavy lifting at Lidl! So far I’ve found the Deluxe Strawberry & White Chocolate Roulade and Toffee Pecan Roulade in the freezer. If you’re taking dessert to a Christmas gathering, it’s lovely to have something everyone can share rather than bringing a separate little pudding just for yourself. Both pictured roulades serve six, so these are worth a look for that.
The Toffee Pecan Roulade was in last year’s guide too. That post also included Sicilian Lemon Roulade, Salted Caramel Pavlova Stack and mini ice cream desserts, which aren’t among this year’s photos so far. I’ll keep checking as Christmas gets closer, but I’m only including what I’ve actually found. Please check your own pack carefully, as I’ve seen ‘may contain’ warnings appear on meringue desserts in other supermarkets over the years. These roulades contain dairy, so they won’t cover everyone’s dietary requirements.

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas range: What was available last year in 2025?
There are some familiar finds in my Lidl gluten-free Christmas guide from 2025: the three-bird roast, satay chicken skewers, cheese and bacon or cheese and onion potato skins, and Toffee Pecan Roulade all featured. This year’s photos also include Cheese & Jalapeno Potato Skins and Strawberry & White Chocolate Roulade, so there are a few different options to consider when planning your gluten-free buffet or dessert.
There are still gaps compared with that completed guide, particularly the fig and almond or date and walnut cakes, nougat and some of the desserts. That doesn’t mean they’ve been discontinued; I simply haven’t seen them in this year’s finds yet. Last year I added 20 products on 20th December, mostly Christmas lunch options, along with a dessert and the large hollow Ferrero Rocher, so there was still more to find quite late in the month.

FAQ: Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026
Where can I find Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products in store?
Lidl UK doesn’t have a dedicated free from aisle, so these finds are spread around the shop. Check the freezers for the three-bird roast, party food, potato sides and roulades; the chilled shelves for falafel and cheese bakes; and the seasonal displays for crisps and sweets.
The captions identify the specific products pictured. The selection can vary between branches and visits, so I’ll keep adding anything else I find.
When does Lidl stock its gluten-free Christmas products?
The range arrives gradually. These photos show what I’ve found so far, rather than everything that might appear before Christmas. There are already frozen party-food and Christmas lunch options, but the confectionery and dessert selections in this guide are still small.
Last year’s guide gained another 20 products on 20th December. That isn’t a promise about this year’s stock, but it’s worth checking back here before your final shop.
Are all the products pictured gluten-free?
I’ve personally checked the labels of the recommended products, but please double-check the ingredients and allergen warnings on your own pack before buying. Recipes and labelling can change, and another variety in similar packaging might not be suitable.
The red-label cranberry three-bird roast and its ingredients are pictured under a clear NOT gluten-free heading as a warning because it contains wheat; it isn’t one of the gluten-free recommendations. The old mince pie photo in the free from section is an archive image, not a current find.
Which Lidl three-bird roast is gluten-free?
The one included here is the Braemoor 3 Bird Roast with Pork, Sage & Roasted Garlic Stuffing. I’ve shown its ingredient label alongside the front of the pack so you can identify the version I checked.
The Pork, Cranberry & Thyme Stuffing version contains wheat flour and is not gluten-free. Don’t assume every Braemoor three-bird roast is the same, and always check your own pack.
Which options are also dairy-free or vegan?
The pictured Vemondo BBQ Corn & Sweet Potato Falafel and Middle Eastern Falafel are labelled vegan, so those are useful places to start if you need something for a gluten-free and vegan buffet. Check any dips or accompaniments separately.
This isn’t a dedicated dairy-free range: the cheese bakes, potato skins and roulades won’t suit someone avoiding milk. Always check the individual pack, and remember that vegan products aren’t automatically gluten-free.
Are these products only available at Christmas?
Not all of them. I’ve included seasonal finds such as festive crisps and the three-bird roast alongside useful everyday-style products like falafel and pakora.
Those can help fill out a gluten-free buffet while the dedicated festive choice is limited, but availability can still change. The photos show what I’ve found on these visits, rather than guaranteeing year-round stock.
Thanks for reading,
Becky xxx
