Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026 – 190+ products to discover! I’ve been visiting Sainsbury’s stores, checking labels and photographing the gluten-free festive finds you’ll see below. From gluten-free mince pies and dairy-free chocolate to party food and desserts, there’s plenty to discover in the free from aisle and beyond… so start scrolling!
Always double-check the ingredients and allergen warnings on your own pack before buying, as recipes and labelling can change. I’ll keep adding new finds right up until Christmas, so check back before your next shop!

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Free From Aisle
If you’re in charge of bringing something gluten-free for Christmas coffee and cake, Sainsbury’s has given you quite a choice this year! The Chocolate & Orange Nutcracker Tiffin would certainly look the part on a festive table, while the Amaretto Tiramisu Cake Slices, Mini Yule Logs and Wreath Cupcakes are handy when you want individual portions just for yourself. And for the mince pie plate, there are classic, iced, mini and frangipane versions – I’ve kept those together below so you can compare them.
There’s plenty for the biscuit tin too, including White Chocolate & Gingerbread Flavour Cookies, Cinnamon Bun Inspired Cookie Creams and Festive Shortbread. Schär and Arden & Amici both have gluten-free panettone for slicing up over the holidays, while NOMO’s Bluey advent calendar and Sainsbury’s own Choc Selection Box give you options for kids who need gluten-free and dairy-free Christmas treats.
Before you leave this aisle, have a look at the savoury bits as well! Mini Cheese Crackers, Sour Cream & Onion Flavour Pretzels and Nairn’s Savoury Biscuit Selection are useful for nibbles or a cheeseboard. I’ve also included the bread sauce, stuffing, gravy and Yorkshire pudding mixes – much easier to pick those up now than realise on Christmas morning that you’re missing one or all of them!

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Snacks, Party Food & Christmas Lunch
Putting together a gluten-free Christmas buffet? Sainsbury’s free from freezers have gluten-free Vegetable Spring Rolls, Tempura Prawns and Vegetable Gyoza, plus an Indian Inspired Snack Selection with samosas, onion bhajis and pakoras. Add Cheese Croquettes, Mozzarella Sticks or Schär’s Mini Calzone Bites and there’s enough variety to make a proper plate of party food. In the chilled free from section, look out for the Free From Festive Sausage Roll and Mini Sausage Rolls too.
For the bowls of snacks that inevitably come out before dinner, the Taste the Difference crisp range includes Roast Porchetta, Brie, Cranberry & Chilli and Potato Dauphinoise flavours alongside Turkey Roast Dinner, Beef Wellington and Pigs in Blankets. There are also Maple & Cinnamon Tortilla Rolls and a Cinnamon Bun Flavour Honey Roasted Nut Mix if you fancy something sweeter. These snacks are outside the free from aisle, as are the pictured pigs in blankets and pork stuffing balls for Christmas lunch.
If you’re buying ahead, check use-by dates, storage instructions and whether each product is suitable for freezing. There’s a mixture of festive arrivals and useful everyday options here, and I’ll keep adding more party food and Christmas dinner finds as I spot them.

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Seasonal Confectionery Aisle
If you’re buying a little present for someone gluten-free, you don’t have to limit yourself to the free from shelves. Sainsbury’s seasonal confectionery aisle has everything from chocolate gifts and festive Haribo to advent calendars. For passing around after Christmas dinner, there are Bendicks Bittermints, After Eight Orange and both Cool Mint and Zingy Orange Matchmakers.
The stocking fillers aren’t all chocolate either! Sainsbury’s Sour Super Stars, Festive Foamies and Peppermint Candy Canes sit alongside Haribo Merry-Mix and Rowntree’s giant tubes. The Milk Chocolate Sprouts and Naughty or Nice chocolate coin would make fun little additions to the Christmas table. For treats that are both gluten-free and dairy-free, take a look at the free from section above.
One thing to be especially careful about when buying confectionery as a gift: a particular brand having one product that’s “accidentally gluten-free” doesn’t mean that every other product they do will be suitable. The photos below show the specific products and pack sizes I found, so check the ingredients and allergen warnings on your chosen product rather than assuming all other flavours or sizes are gluten-free too.

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026: Desserts
You certainly don’t have to commit everyone to Christmas pudding to sort out a gluten-free dessert! Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Berry Meringue Roulade and Toffee & Pecan Meringue Roulade are sharing options from the freezer, alongside the ever-reliable Almondy Daim Crunchy Cake. Check the defrosting instructions before you need them – the pictured roulades say three hours, so they aren’t something to take out just as you clear the dinner plates.
For a smaller gathering, the chilled Salted Caramel Chocolate Tarts and Lemon Tarts come in packs of two, while Chocolate, Syrup and Sticky Toffee Sponge give you options for a warm pudding. If you do want the traditional Christmas pudding, I’ve repeated the free from aisle options here too, including the individual and larger sizes. Check the serving sizes and any cream, custard or ice cream you’re adding, especially if you need the whole dessert to be dairy-free as well. I’ll add more finds as they appear!

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas range: What was available last year in 2025?
If you’re wondering what else might still arrive, here’s my guide to Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products from 2025. It’s a useful look back at last year’s selection, though being featured there doesn’t guarantee a product will return for 2026.
Last year, this guide started with an empty desserts section and I added the first finds in November, so it’s good to have options to show you already this time! The free from baking has some different twists too: last year’s photos included Salted Caramel Chocolate Bauble Tiffin and Cranberry & Orange Shortbread, while this year there’s Chocolate & Orange Nutcracker Tiffin and Festive Shortbread with Sicilian orange and festive spices. We’ll have to wait and see what else joins them!

FAQ: Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2026
Where can I find Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas range in store?
Start with the free from aisle for the mince pies, biscuits, chocolate gifts and cupboard staples. Then check the chilled and frozen free from sections for party food and desserts, the seasonal confectionery aisle for chocolates and sweets, and the chilled meat section for the pictured pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. The photos above will help you recognise the specific products.
The selection varies between stores, so you might not find everything pictured in a smaller branch. What’s in my local Sainsbury’s right now might not be in yours yet, and vice versa!
When does Sainsbury’s stock its gluten-free Christmas products?
The range arrives gradually rather than all at once. I’ve already found the products pictured above, but that doesn’t mean the full Christmas selection has landed! Chocolates, biscuits and other longer-life products can appear well before the chilled party food and Christmas dinner extras.
I’ll keep visiting stores and updating this guide right up until Christmas, so check back if you’re still waiting for a particular festive favourite.
Are all the products pictured gluten-free?
I’ve personally checked the labels of the products included here, including those outside Sainsbury’s Free From range. However, please check the ingredients and allergen warnings on your own pack before buying, as recipes and labelling can change.
The photos show the specific products I found. Don’t assume that another flavour, pack size or product from the same brand is also suitable.
Which options are also dairy-free or vegan?
There are options for both in the free from section, including products from NOMO and Moo Free. Look out for the NOMO Bluey advent calendar, Moo Free Choccy Coins and Sainsbury’s Free From Choc Selection Box among the photos above.
Not everything in this guide is dairy-free or vegan, though. Check the individual packaging for your requirements, and remember that a vegan label alone doesn’t mean a product is gluten-free.
Can I buy these Sainsbury’s Christmas products online?
It’s worth searching Sainsbury’s website or app for the products you’re after. I’ve put names beneath the photos so you can search for a specific item more easily.
The guide records my in-store finds, so it isn’t a guarantee of online availability. Check using your delivery address or chosen collection store to see what you can currently order.
Are these products only available at Christmas?
No – this guide includes both seasonal products and everyday finds that are useful for a gluten-free Christmas. Festive mince pies, advent calendars and Christmas chocolates sit alongside staples such as gluten-free gravy, stuffing and sponge pudding.
I’ve included those regular products to help with the whole Christmas shop, rather than just the things with festive packaging!
Thanks for reading,
Becky xxx
