Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025 – in the next part of my festive supermarket guide series we’ll be visiting Iceland, the budget UK supermarket – not the Nordic country! Everything in this post is on shelves right now, Coeliac-friendly and wheat-free.
Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025 – this is the second-ever festive round-up post I’ve done on Iceland and though you might not expect a lot, I wouldn’t post it without good reason! Though lacking a lot in the free from department, there’s some amazing party food products I absolutely had to highlight for your consideration and everything found here comes at ‘normal people prices’. So let’s dive in!
Update log 🗓
- Any new products I find will be added to the post and if/when that happens, I’ll highlight what’s been added in this bit here:
- UPDATES COMING SOON! (though don’t get your hopes up, this is everything I found last year too!)
- FIRST POSTED 11TH DECEMBER 2025

Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025
Since this is a MEGA guide to Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025 I thought I’d split this post up into sections – though please remember that this post is mainly about frozen party food!
Using the contents list below, you can jump to particular sections if you’re looking for something specific, or feel free to just scroll down to see everything:
Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Snacks, Party Food + Christmas lunch
This section of the post is the entire reason I decided to create a gluten-free Christmas products post for Iceland for the very first time last year. Because exactly as was the case last year, the combination of their TGI Fridays and Cathedral City range actually present some exciting choices for any gluten-free party food spread this year.
Of course, like I often say in these posts, please don’t get excited and assume that all products that fall under these two brands are gluten-free! These are specific products that I’ve personally found and checked for you in store – if I didn’t include other products in these ranges here in this post, it’s probably because they weren’t safe to eat!
- TGI Fridays Mini Hash Brown Dogs
- TGI Fridays 6 XL Mozzarella Dippers
- TGI Fridays 12 Cheese & Jalapeño Hash Brown Pockets
- TGI Fridays Slow Cooked BBQ Rib Rack
- Iceland 14 Onion Bhajis
- Iceland 12 Onion Bhaji Bombs
- Harry Ramsden’s 2 Chip Shop Curry Sauce Pots
- Harry Ramsden’s Battered Potato Slices
- Cathedral City Our Cheesy Hash Brown Pockets
- Cathedral City Our Cheesy Potato Croquettes

Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Seasonal Confectionery Aisle
Whilst I was in Iceland hunting for gluten-free Christmas products once again, I thought I’d hunt for the usual ‘accidentally’ gluten-free seasonal chocolate and this is what I found. Just don’t hold your breath for any gluten-free AND dairy-free options here!
Of course, with Iceland being mainly focused on frozen food, I didn’t expect much – however, just like last year, they do have a decent choice of options that are well worth considering if you happen to be passing by:
- Cadbury Mini Snow Balls
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Coins
- Baileys Chocolate Caramel Buttons
- After Eight
- Quality Street
- Black Magic
- After Eight Winter Fondants
- Milkybar Festive Friends
- Kinder Mini Hollow Figures
- Walnut Whip (6 pack)

Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Desserts
Well, I only found two meringue-based desserts here last year and I actually found four dessert-ish options this year, so I guess we should call that a win?
As I mentioned in the Lidl post, many supermarket roulade and meringue-based desserts now have ‘may contain’ warnings that make them unsafe for Coeliacs. So the fact we’ve got one here that’s safe still is great.
- Iceland 6 Vanilla Ice Cream Trees
- Luxury Lemon Roulade
- Viennetta Vanilla
- Viennetta Pistachio Vanilla
But with that in mind, please also double-check that you’ve got the correct product as shown here, check the ingredients/allergy info and don’t blindly assume that last year’s product is gluten-free this year too!

Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Free From Products
Just like in Lidl, if you go looking for dedicated gluten-free Christmas products or hunt for any kind of free from aisle in Iceland, you’ll be sure to find…

Just like highlighted in my Aldi post in previous years and Lidl post this year, there’s absolutely zero festive dedicated free from products to speak of in Iceland. And that’s the case because these supermarkets don’t even have a dedicated free from aisle or free from range at any time of year, let alone at Christmas. Believe it or not, Iceland did used to stock a range of frozen free from products back in 2019… which were sadly discontinued not long after! In past years, they also used to stock gluten-free mince pies too and a few other festive free from products, believe it or not.

But these days, Iceland’s highlighted gluten-free products on their website mainly comprise of a bunch of random products like condiments, yoghurt and potato-based products that we could likely buy in any other supermarket in the UK. We have no chance of completing a weekly shop here, to say the least!
Having been gluten-free for over 15 years, I can safely say that things won’t change for the better unless we constantly remind everyone that we exist and that we will happily give businesses our money if they provide for us at respectable prices. After all, without letting businesses (like supermarkets, fast food chains, cafes, restaurants or even TV shows) know that we exist, the status quo of having little to no gluten-free options/representation will just continue.
So this empty section of this post is a reminder to you, the reader, to message Iceland politely asking for a dedicated free from section with essential free from products (like bread, flour and cereal!) to be stocked there all year round at reasonable prices at the very least. And whilst you might feel like one message won’t make a difference, if we’re all persistently doing it, we’re much harder to ignore. I will of course be messaging them too!
Here’s how you can get in touch with them:
- Iceland’s Facebook
- Iceland’s Twitter (seems pretty dead)
- Iceland’s Instagram
- Iceland’s Threads (seems to be a bit inactive)
- Iceland’s Website (contact form at the bottom of the page)
Last Year’s Products
And last but not least, here’s all the products that were in Iceland LAST YEAR in 2024.
They may be back this year… they may not! So either way, I thought I’d leave the link to last year’s post above just in case they do make a return.

Don’t forget to check out these Christmas supermarket posts too…

FAQ: Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025
Are all of these Iceland Christmas products gluten-free?
Yes. But though I’ve personally checked all of these products myself in person, I still advise you to thoroughly check ingredients lists and for any ‘may contain’ warnings; namely when shopping outside of the free from aisle. This is simply because some products can vary in ingredients regionally and though I’ve only ever seen this difference in Aldi crisps, you never know! Given that Iceland doesn’t have a dedicated free from range and most of these products are ‘accidentally’ gluten-free, that makes it even more important for you to double check ingredients and allergen warnings with your own eyes!
Do Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products include dairy-free or vegan options?
Hmm… not really! It’s safe to say that for true free from options and products (including dairy-free, milk-free or egg-free), you’re far better off elsewhere.
When do Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products come out? I can’t find them!
They usually start appearing as early as August, with more lines added through November as the full range lands. Though you might not think there’s much in this post and are still left wondering when the rest lands, based on previous years I can assure you that this is mostly all we’ll get here at Iceland.
Are any of these gluten-free products available year-round?
Not generally, as most festive products disappear after Christmas and Iceland is no exception!
Thanks for joining me in checking out Iceland’s gluten-free Christmas products for 2025! What did you think? Which one was your favourite? What would you hope to see in there in the future?
