It’s IBS Diary Week 10! So, as I have mentioned in my videos recently, I have been super busy the past few weeks & that certainly hasn’t changed. Last week I missed a few days of taking Symprove & found myself eating out a lot! To be honest I think my stomach was glad to see the end of this week. It really is hard work, changing ones routine so dramatically. My stomach is a little stupid and just doesn’t understand that everything is going to be alright!!
Since getting back to Manchester I have been on the Symprove every day. It’s a relief as I know over the past 10 weeks it has really built up and helped my stomach. I really am thankful to it. I am also so glad that I like the taste… Mark always told me it was horrible and it scared me… I actually quite like it first thing in the morning!
This weeks video is all about FODMAPs. Now I have heard so many good things about going on a low FODMAP diet, however I have never been strict enough with myself to try it out. I obviously remove a lot of high FODMAP foods from my diet anyway but to be 100% strict for me personally seems impossible. For instance if you are going out with friends or colleagues for dinner, most restaurants don’t seem to offer ‘low FODMAP’ options… I mean it cuts out SO much!
I was just wondering if you have tried the Low FODMAP diet & how you got on. Did anyone find it easy?! & most importantly did/does it help you and your IBS?!
