I was really excited about going to the BFree stand many weeks prior to The Allergy and Free From Show. What made me most excited was the fact they make wraps! And not any old wraps, of course they are gluten and wheat free (also egg and dairy free); furthermore they are actually rather healthy as well! At only 99 calories per wrap and only 0.7 grams of fat per wrap I have been yearning such a product for lunch for a very long time!
The stand itself was really lovely, there were various samples of their other bread based product being given out to try as well, but as expected it was the wraps that did it for me! BFree has a chef behind the stall creating wraps with your choice of filling for you to sample, of course Mark and I got to the front and asked for a tasty wrap each! We got avocado, mango, tomato, spinach, mayo and a salsa like sauce in our and they were delicious! I also then had a smoked salmon and cream cheese wrap which blew my mind equally… so of course I rushed back to the stand to buy as many packets of wraps as I could lay my hands on! Sadly the amount I could lay my hands on was ZERO! They had sold out before I got the chance! I guess this shows the true popularity of the new wrap product which is currently not available in the shops. However, two weeks from today (so about the 25th June) Ocado will be selling the wraps; and from the 22nd July Asda will also be stocking the wraps. I cannot wait to get my hands on some, I strongly advise that you grab some when they are available too!
