The ultimate gluten-free advent calendar guide 2023
Since this is a guide that shows specific advent calendars across a range of different supermarkets, that’s exactly how I’ve decided to divide them up.
Using the contents list below, you can jump to particular supermarkets if you’re looking for somewhere specific, or feel free to just scroll down to see everything:
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Tesco
As always, Tesco is a reliable place to find gluten-free advent calendars for Christmas 2023, though I have noticed that the amount that’s gluten-free is a little less than last year.
Either way, I’ll definitely be heading here for one of my annual favourites: the Toblerone advent calendar!
The only dairy-free option I found here that’s simultaneously gluten-free too is the NOMO advent calendar, though you’ll find that in other supermarkets too.
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Asda
Asda has an even better selection of gluten-free advent calendars than Tesco, including even more dairy-free and gluten-free options too.
Plus, there’s three nut-free advent calendars too which we always used to buy for Mark’s nephew so take note of the Kinnerton advent calendars if you need to.
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s is about on par with Asda for variety though you’ll find more advent calendars containing sweets instead of chocolate here, if that’s your kinda thing. They’re not all that common!
With their own-brand free from advent calendar and NOMO’s too, there’s enough dairy-free and overall options to suit most people here.
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Marks and Spencer
And as always, M&S is always a great choice for gluten-free advent calendars because they’ll always have unique M&S brand products that you won’t find anywhere else…
Apart from online on Ocado of course, because they sell M&S products on there for delivery! So if you’re a regular Ocado shopper, keep scrolling to see which of these products are also available on Ocado (and a few extras) too…
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Aldi
Though my hopes aren’t ever super high when it comes to finding seasonal gluten-free products at Aldi, I was pleased to see at least two gluten-free advent calendars in there!
So if you’re popping in and just want to conveniently pick something up, remember these two options, though you will see them in most supermarkets around November too.
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Lidl
Lidl’s selection is actually a little bit better than Aldi and even has a dairy-free and gluten-free advent calendar too! (The MooFree choccy advent calendar)
The first one is actually is a cheese advent calendar, so if you’re a cheese connoisseur then Lidl is the place for you ?
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Morrison’s
Though I wasn’t able to get to Morrisons myself as there isn’t one that near where I live, here’s the selection that Morrison’s has online this year for 2023.
With three dairy-free options, including their own free from brand advent calendar, Morrison’s seems to be a good choice for a bit of everything!
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Waitrose
There isn’t a vast selection of gluten-free advent calendars in my Waitrose this year, but there’s still enough options to cover a few bases if you’re stopping by.
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: Ocado
Of course, with Ocado being an online supermarket that also can deliver M&S products, their selection is pretty good – even including a couple of products that weren’t in my local M&S yet.
They even have the cheese advent calendar that’s also in Lidl too! ?
Gluten-free Advent Calendars 2023: John Lewis
Though John Lewis isn’t actually a supermarket of course, some Waitrose stores are actually attached to a John Lewis so bear these in mind if that’s the case for you. You could probably just pop from Waitrose next door to John Lewis to check!
