Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025 – if you’ve read my recent Christmas post covering Aldi (or even just last year’s Lidl post) then you’ll likely already have low expectations, but here we are anyway! Since this is a MEGA guide to Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025 I thought I’d split this post up into sections as you’ll see below as well as a link to where you can view previous year’s products.

If you compare Lidl to other supermarkets when it comes to gluten-free festive snacks, party food and Christmas lunch options you’ll very likely be disappointed (much like every year!) But in 2025 there’s one saving grace here that a lot of people always ask me for…
And that is a 3 bird roast! A lot of you have messaged me telling me how so many of them aren’t gluten-free (because of the stuffing) but Lidl’s is actually gluten-free and safe to eat. And having been to every supermarket to take these photos for each individual post, I can definitely say that this is in fact a rarity outside of Lidl! Otherwise, you’ve got the same stuff I usually found across previous years like:

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Seasonal Confectionery Aisle
There’s some variety and choice when it comes to general seasonal chocolates and treats though again, certainly not as much as you’ll find in other supermarkets.
The fig and almond and date and walnut cakes are back and still deserve an honourable mention as in previous years I expressed how I couldn’t believe they were gluten-free… and I haven’t seen them in any other supermarkets either!
But otherwise, it’s much the same as every year in this section for Lidl:

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Desserts
In previous years, almost every supermarket was crammed full of meringue-based desserts and that spirit is still alive at Lidl. And perhaps we should be grateful for that!
Over the years all supermarkets seem to be stocking less and less meringue-based desserts that are safe for us to eat (lots now seem to have ‘may contain’ warnings sadly), so I was grateful to find these few roulades.
Once again, Lidl definitely isn’t somewhere you should rush to for gluten-free desserts, but if you’re passing, please bear these in mind. Hopefully I’ll be able to update this post with more as Christmas nears, though this proved to be basically everything last year.

Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025: Free From Aisle
If you go looking for dedicated gluten-free Christmas products or a free from aisle in Lidl UK, you’ll be sure to find…
If you read my Lidl post last year you might find it uncannily strange how similar the situation is here in Lidl once again. That being:
- Lidl used to stock their own brand gluten-free mince pies during the festive season in previous years and now they don’t. Even Aldi’s gluten-free mince pies have made a return this year after not being seen for years. Lidl’s haven’t been seen in around 5 years – here’s an old photo I took back in 2020:
- Lidl UK (and Aldi UK) don’t stock own-brand free from products during the rest of the year either. That means there’s zero dedicated gluten-free products available. Lidl actually used to have a small free from range, but that hasn’t been seen in many years now (it was discontinued). We instead just have to rely on what’s ‘accidentally’ gluten-free entirely here or shop elsewhere.
- Like Aldi over in Ireland, Lidl Ireland do stock a core range of free from products like bread, flour, pasta, biscuits etc. Here’s a link to a PDF of all the gluten-free products Lidl stock over in Ireland currently in 2025 (last updated Nov 2025) – if you search that PDF for all the products that are branded as ‘Just Free’ (which are all Lidl’s own-brand free from products) you’ll find 19 products. Compare that to here in the UK where I can’t even find one ‘Just Free’ product listed on the Lidl website whatsoever. Here’s a list of some of the products in that document in case you don’t want to go hunting:

Having been gluten-free for 15+ years, I can safely say that things won’t change for the better unless we constantly remind everyone that we exist. And that we will happily give businesses our money if they provide for us at respectable prices. After all, without letting businesses (like supermarkets, fast food chains, cafes, restaurants or even TV shows) know that we exist, the status quo of having little to no gluten-free options/representation will just continue.
So this empty section of this post is a reminder to you, the reader, to message Lidl politely asking for a dedicated free from section with essential free from products (such as some/all of those listed above!) to be stocked there all year round at reasonable prices at the very least. And whilst you might feel like one message won’t make a difference, if we’re all persistently doing it, we’re much harder to ignore. I will of course be messaging them too as I did last year!

FAQ: Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products 2025
Are all of these Lidl Christmas products gluten-free?
Yes. But though I’ve personally checked all of these products myself in person, I still advise you to thoroughly check ingredients lists and for any ‘may contain’ warnings; namely when shopping outside of the free from aisle. This is simply because some products can vary in ingredients regionally and though I’ve only ever seen this difference in Aldi crisps, you never know! Given that Lidl doesn’t have a dedicated free from range and most of these products are ‘accidentally’ gluten-free, that makes it even more important for you to double check ingredients and allergen warnings with your own eyes!
Do Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products include dairy-free or vegan options?
Hmm… not really! It’s safe to say that for true free from options and products (including dairy-free, milk-free or egg-free), you’re far better off elsewhere.
When do Lidl’s gluten-free Christmas products come out? I can’t find them!
They usually start appearing as early as August, with more lines added through November as the full range lands. Though you might not think there’s much in this post and are still left wondering when the rest lands, based on previous years I can assure you that this is mostly all we’ll get here at Lidl.
Are any of these gluten-free products available year-round?
Not generally, as most festive products disappear after Christmas and Lidl is no exception!
