I’ll be doing posts like this for all the supermarkets this Christmas as I do every year, so look out for those too.

Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024
Since this is a MEGA guide to Sainsbury’s Christmas gluten-free products in 2024 I thought I’d split this post up into four sections as you’ll see below (as well as a link to last year’s full range too).
Using the contents list below, you can jump to particular sections if you’re looking for something specific, or feel free to just scroll down to see everything:
Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024: Free From Aisle
Once again, our Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024 round-up starts within their very own free from aisle. Supermarkets always release brand new festive free from products around this time of year that won’t be around forever!
Though there’s lot of dairy-free options below (including chocolate), please remember that not everything down free from aisles is dairy-free! Just like in other supermarkets, look for the highlighted blue ‘milk’ word on Sainsbury’s own-brand free from products, which indicates that the product is free from milk too. On their ‘Taste The Difference’ range it won’t be highlighted in blue, but it will be mentioned somewhere on the front of the packaging.
Of course, there’s a few returning favourites in the Sainsbury’s range, but keep an eye out for new products like the 4x Hazelnut and Florentine tarts as well as 2x Sticky Toffee Pudding Muffins and more!
It always likely that there’s still more products to come, so make sure you favourite this page and keep checking back for new additions periodically – the same applies to my other supermarket posts too!
Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024: Seasonal Confectionery Aisle + Advent Calendars
If you venture outside of the free from aisle (namely to the seasonal aisle) you’ll find tons more products that are ‘accidentally’ gluten-free, including things like advent calendars, gifts and small sweet treats.
Of course, if these ingredients have no ‘may contain’ warning and no gluten containing ingredients, they’re considered to be gluten-free and safe to eat. And yes, I’ve personally checked the ingredients lists of all these products myself, in person, on the packaging! So here’s everything I found…
Please bear in mind that I’m highlighting these products below specifically. Absolutely do not assume that just because one product is gluten-free and featured here in this post, that all products by the same brand also be gluten-free too. Quite often, that isn’t the case!
Though you’ll notice there were advent calendars in the previous section (down the free from aisle), those were all gluten-free AND dairy-free advent calendars. If you’re not dairy-free, you’ll find even more choice down seasonal aisles, as shown below…
Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024: Snacks, Party Food & Christmas Lunch
Unlike in my Asda post where it was a bit too early to showcase much in this section, that isn’t the case in Sainsbury’s! They actually have a lot of festive crisps/snacks and Christmas lunch trimmings out already right now.
However, as is usually the case with party food, you’ll have to check back on this post to know when it finally lands – which it usually won’t until closer to Christmas (usually because of expiry dates).
Don’t forget to check the seasonal aisle for the ambient products, the free from chillers for the chilled stuff and the freezers too for all of these products. The gravy granules near the end are with all the ‘normal people’ gravy and a surprisingly great find as it’s the only gluten-free one hidden there! (please note the equivalent turkey gravy in Asda is NOT gluten-free, making this an even better find!)
Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products 2024: Desserts
Like party food, festive desserts don’t often show up too early. But of course, as soon as they do begin to pop up in my Sainsbury’s, I will be sure to find them and post them here!
Since finding the White Rabbit gluten-free classic Tiramisu (and nothing else!) I’ve since added a few new finds here…
Please let Sainsbury’s be an example of how, though the two roulades I’ve posted below are gluten-free, they also had similar variations in similar branded packaging that aren’t safe for Coeliacs; the roulades not featured here all had ‘may contain’ warning for gluten, making them not gluten-free. So please don’t assume that all meringue-based desserts you come across are safe!
Other than that, you’ll find the dessert pots down the free from chiller aisle along with the tiramisu.
Last Year’s Products
And last but not least, here’s all the products that were in Sainsbury’s LAST YEAR in 2023.
They may be back this year… they may not! So either way, I thought I’d leave the link to last year’s post above just in case they do make a return.
Don’t forget to check out these Christmas supermarket posts too…
Thanks for joining me in checking out Sainsbury’s gluten-free Christmas products for 2024! What did you think? Is it too early for Christmas products?! Which one was your favourite? What are we still missing?
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for the latest product finds and tons of festive recipes to come! Make sure you watch/like/comment on any videos you see if you want to see more as Instagram has a habit of hiding them from you if you don’t.
Thanks for reading,
