Low FODMAP Curry Powder

My low FODMAP curry powder recipe is quick to make and essential if you need to follow the low FODMAP diet. Supermarket curry powder so often contains onion powder and garlic powder which are big no no's when it comes to low FODMAP cooking.


  • 4 tbsp ground coriander
  • 4 tbsp ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cardamon
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp ground asafoetida


  1. Measure out all your spices into a bowl and mix together thoroughly.

  2. Pour into a jar to store it in.

  3. Use in exactly the same way as shop bought curry powder.

  4. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This recipe makes more than enough for a few meals. I always like to make a large amount so I don't have to make it every single time from scratch.
