Walker’s X Becky Excell Facebook Competition T&C’s

1. Entry to this prize draw will be deemed to constitute full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is being run by Becky Excell on behalf of Walker’s Shortbread (The Promoter).

Eligibility to enter

• Open to entrants over the age of 18 and UK residents only, excluding employees and their immediate families of the promoter and Becky Excell, agents, associates or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
• Proof of age may be requested
• In entering this prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so.
• The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase required to enter

How to enter

• Entries open at 09:00 am on 1^st September 2022 and closes at 23:59 pm on 8^th September 2022. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be valid
• Entry via Becky Excell’s Facebook page on the giveaway post-dated 1^st September

  • Follow Walker’s Shortbread Facebook Page
  • Tag a friend you’d share some gluten-free shortbread with in the comments section of the competition post (age 18+ only)
• Only one entry per person is permitted
• Entrant’s participation is online via Becky Excell’s Facebook page only. The promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to this entry route.

The Prize

1. There are a total of eight (8) prize packages available:
   1. 1 winner x first prize consisting of 3 month’s supply of Walker’s Gluten Free Shortbread (3 x packs each of classic shortbread and chocolate chip to be sent each month for 3 consecutive months), Walker’s Shortbread cup & saucer, teaspoon, plate and jute bag and a signed Becky Excell book

• 2 winners x second prize consisting of four packs of Walker’s Gluten Free Shortbread (2 packs each of classic and chocolate chip), Walker’s jute bag and a signed Becky Excell book

• 5 winners x third prize consisting of two packs of Walker’s Gluten Free Shortbread (1 pack each of classic and chocolate chip) and a Walker’s jute bag
• There will be no cash alternatives and the prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value.

Winner Announcement

1. Eight winners will be drawn at random on 9^th September 2022.
2. The winners will be notified within five days of draw date via private message Becky Excell’s Facebook account only.
3. Any prize winner who has not responded to notification within five days of being contacted by Becky Excell will forfeit their prize.
4. Winners will be requested to share their contact and address details for Walker’s Shortbread to arrange the delivery of their prize
5. All addresses must be in the UK
6. Prizes will be organised and sent out by Walker’s Shortbread within 14 days from winner selection.

Data Protection

• The winners’ consent to their full name and address being used by the promoter to enable their prize to be sent out.
• The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 
• The winner’s personal data will be deleted one month after the prize to ensure all prizes are correctly received and only kept for this purpose. The winner of the first prize will have their details deleted after four months (to allow for 3 x monthly deliveries in line with the prize)
• Winners can ask to remove personal data collected sooner; by contacting Becky Excell or Walker’s Shortbread by private message on Facebook

Limitation of Liability

• The promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any social media site entries to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the promotion.

General

• By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decisions of the promoter that are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into.
• The promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other social network.
