Welcome to the ultimate guide to gluten free mince pies for Christmas 2017. If you thought that free from mince pies were all basically the same, scroll down and prepare to have your mind changed and/or blown.
Not all of these are dairy free or vegan, but I will make sure I mention when they are! Sadly, none are low FODMAP either, but keep your eyes peeled on the blog for a recipe soon… Bring on the gluten free mince pies!
1. Oast to Host’s Gin & Tonic Gluten Free Mince Pies
Oast to Host have totally nailed mince pies this year with their boozy twist on a Christmas classic.
This gluten free mince pie is packed with mincemeat soaked in gin and tonic and encased in lovely, light, sweet pastry. Christmas has definitely come early this year!
2. Costa’s Gluten Free Mince Tart (available in store)
You’re never far from a Costa and that now means that you’re never far from a gluten free, dairy free and vegan mince tart. What a time to be alive.
They’re a welcome change from their gluten free and vegan mince pie bars from last year. Nice job, Costa!

Coming in at the lowest price point of this entire list at £1.49, Aldi haven’t compromised on taste with their gluten free mince pies. A real ‘must-try mince pie’!
8. Oast To Host’s Prosecco Gluten Free Mince Pies
Can you believe that we’ve finally got a little bit of gluten free luxury and variety at Christmas? If you can’t believe it, just try Oast to Host’s gluten free mince pie filled with Prosecco-soaked mincemeat.
9. Tesco’s Free From Deep-Filled Mince Pies
Not sure where to start in the world of gluten free mince pies?
You can’t fault Tesco’s gluten free mince pies for their generous filling and buttery (yet dairy free) gluten free pastry.
What could you love more than Lovemore’s gluten free, milk free mince pies? Well, four of them maybe?!
Iceland might not have its own free from aisle, but We Love Cakes will put stars in your eyes with their gluten free mince pies.
Head down to Iceland to find them in a four pack. There’s also a gluten free Christmas pudding in there if you look hard enough.
Looking for a little luxury this Christmas? Well, Hale and Hearty are quite confident that they’ve got it covered!

13. Oast To Host’s Whiskey Gluten Free Mince Pies
As you can probably tell, Oast to Host has really gone the extra mile when it comes to gluten free mince pies this Christmas.
If gin and tonic and Prosecco wasn’t enough, they’ve only gone and made Whiskey gluten free mince pies. Well I never.
14. Lidl’s Gluten Free Mince Pies (available in store)
Lidl’s gluten free mince pies recently hit the shelves, marking another place you can find deep-filled, festive cheer. These ones are amazing warmed up!
Handmade in Ireland, Denise makes these delicious gluten free mince pies using her Mum’s secret recipe.
Thankfully, Denise’s Mum’s secret recipe is gluten free and dairy free too!
I’m a big fan of supermarkets bringing a little variation to the humble mince pie. Sainsbury’s is one of the only supermarkets that stocks iced mince pies that are free from gluten and dairy free.
It’s a little bit of a sweetness overload for me, but if you’ve got a sweet tooth then you certainly won’t have any qualms!
17. Tesco’s Free From Spiced Pear Pies
Tesco’s free from spiced pear pies are a lovely festive alternative to a classic mince pie, whilst still remaining festive.
Think of a Bramley apple pie but with a little extra festive cheer! Ho-ho-how many of these am I allowed to eat at once?
Berkson Bakes’ gluten free mince pies are beautifully boxed up and taste every bit as wonderful as they look. They can even make them dairy-free or egg-free upon request!
Oddly enough, it’s the only place that makes mince pies with Christmas trees on them out of this entire list. What are the chances of that?

You know by now that I absolutely adore a subtle twist on a mince pie. Well, good news! Let Them Eat’s gluten free mince pies are handmade and topped with a cheeky marzipan star.
Waitrose have stocked their own brand gluten free mince pies for several years now and you really can’t go wrong with a box of these. No milk in sight either!
No guarantees that you’ll actually ‘LoveLife’ after eating one though.
21. Marks and Spencer Made Without Wheat Mince Pies (available in store)
Marks and Spencer’s gluten free mince pies have had a little bit of a rebrand, but they’re the same great pies from last year. They’re buttery and filled with rich, beautiful mincemeat as you’d expect.
Sometimes good things just don’t need to change!
Another supermarket staple is Asda’s gluten free mince pies. Even though they’re not clearly labelled as dairy free or milk free, they actually are!
Why do supermarkets do this to us?!
23. Co-Op’s Gluten Free Mince Pies (available in store)
As a nice full stop to the supermarket trilogy of gluten free mince pies, your local Co-op is also in on the action! They’re dairy free too.
I think I’d struggle to tell a lot of supermarket gluten free mince pies apart, so you can’t go wrong again with Co-Op’s.
With a winning combo of Bramley apple and traditional mincemeat, Baked to Taste’s gluten free mince pies are like snow on Christmas day. Plus, they’re dairy free, of course! It’s so great to see so many options that Mark and I can both enjoy too.
25. Gluten Free Kitchen’s Mince Pie Tarts
Last but not least is Gluten Free Kitchen’s gluten free and vegan mince pie tarts. They’re also egg free too!
Wow. I think I’ve seen enough mince pies until 2018 already.
